~Santa Here We Come~

Off to see Santa we go... We spent 2 days prior pumping up Katelyne on how the old guy would bring her whatever she asked for. We followed up these instructions with the ideas of what we wanted her to have. Genius, I know. She was all clammed up at first, but quickly opened up when I reminded her that if she said nothing, then she got........

TyTy was not as sure... and Katelyne quickly grew bored of him not paying attention. There was an odd elf outside that was a little freaky, but the kids seemed to enjoy her and I guess that was what mattered... she made candycane balloons! Shortly after these shots, Katelynes burst on the grass.... needless to say, a "small donation" supplied her with another one she "had to have". I think it is still in my car trunk, it is March.

~CHRISTMAS TIME!!!~

Finally! After 12 months of waiting.... Christmas is here!!!

We are off to find a tree! This is where Katelyne shows she HATES the camera..... note the little boy looking at Santa and Katelyne peering from the backside.... as if to say, "Um, I have no interest in smiling for a picture and I will be damned if you are going to show me up!"

I had to get a few sneak attack shots.... And a few family shots.... All-in-all it was an interesting trip. Katelyne had major attitude the entire trip (yes, because of the Santa fiasco at the beginning), Tyler was not having the rain and Eric was already saying he was "not setting this thing up tonight, so get that through my head!"

I love the family time we spend together that is so loving and precious....

**yes, he did put up my damn tree....

~Bath Time Giggles~

Having one kiddo is fun! By "fun" I mean easy.

Tyler quickly outgrew his baby tub, and we have now upgraded to the bath seat! He couldn't be happier! So, I have resorted to one of the many things I swore I would NEVER do..... Team Bathing. I was against this only because my Katelyne is eternally inquisitive. Asking questions overandoverandoaver again - then she will ask a few more times to check that you weren't fibbing.

But the fun they have together is fantastic! They squirt each other with bacteria infested toys, blow bubbles in the dirty bath water and create small tidal waves in the bathroom!

It was fantastic until I came to realize what exactly it means to be a boy. Here is my interpretation: It means bugs are no match!, no dirt is too dirty!, he will always have a "little boy" smell - no roses here Lady, he will melt me every time he smiles as he throws my favorite nick-knacks in the toilet.....

...it means figuring out what ALL things do, and why they are there... ...it means getting caught doing something he knows he shouldn't be doing, will always be funny.
Oh! My Little Man.... This. Will. Be. Fun.

~Where the Hell Have You Been?!?!?!?~

Well, it has been lovingly brought to my attention, that I have neglected the 1 person who reads this blog. The 1 person whom I talk with everyday and the 1 person who has 3 pictures for every one I have of my kids.... Here you go Mom.

Tyler has been a ton more mobile these days....crawling wherever he can fit! Which in turn makes him VERY curious abour his surroundings. Lately he wants to be right. in. the. camera.

He is soooo cute though, and if I recall correctly, my little Katelyne LOVED the camera too at this age. Now I have to bribe with tiaras and shoes to get her to smile for me.....

"Young and Dumb" takes on a whole new meaning....
